Woman dead, another wounded in PMB shooting

The shooting occurred in Privet Road, Raisethorpe, on Tuesday night, said Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha.

 

Police spokesman Colonel Jay Naicker confirmed the incident.

 

"On 22 July 2014 [Tuesday] at about 9pm... two females aged 24 and 29 were found with gunshot wounds inside their place of residence at Parkview squatter camp," he said.

 

The 24-year-old died at the scene and the other was taken to hospital in a critical condition. The motive for the killing was unknown at this stage.

 

He said police were investigating a case of murder and attempted murder, and no arrests had yet been made.
