Woman held for false hijacking case
Updated | By Staff Writer
A 27-year-old woman accused of opening a false hijacking case was arrested in Pimville, Soweto, on Wednesday.
The woman reported a hijacking at the Orlando police station on Tuesday, said Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela.
"She told the police she was hijacked by two armed men at the robots in Dube." It appeared that she was drunk at a tavern in the area when one of her friends took her car to the woman's house in Pimville. She would appear in the Orlando Magistrate's Court on Thursday.
