A woman sustained several injuries when her car crashed into the back of another car on the R716 near Deneysville in Vereeniging on Saturday, Gauteng paramedics said.
Paramedics arrived on the scene where they found the 51-year-old woman outside her car, ER24 spokesman Werner Vermaak said.
“It is understood that she was taken out of the vehicle by bystanders on the scene. According to the woman, the vehicle in front suddenly stopped and she crashed into the back of it.
“She was treated for possible head, chest, and pelvis injuries. She was later transported to Mediclinic Vereeniging for further care. No one sustained any injuries in the other vehicle,” Vermaak said.
