Woman killed in the Eastern Cape
A woman was shot dead in Ngcobo on Thursday, the Eastern Cape health department said.
"A 73-year-old woman was shot and killed last night by unknown assailants," said Sizwe Kupelo on Friday.
The woman was alone at home when the incident took place.
"We are not sure what the motive was, but we strongly suspect that it is a witchcraft-related incident."
The murder was being investigated. No arrests had been made.
