Woman murdered in Phomolong
A woman was found stabbed to death in Phomolong near Hennenman, Free State police said on Tuesday.
"The lifeless body of a woman aged between 18 and 25 years was found lying half-naked from waist downwards behind the old graveyard at Phomolong near Hennenman on Monday morning," said Warrant Officer Malebo Khosana.
A passer-by found the body and alerted the police.
"On arrival the police found her lying on her back with stab wounds. She was stabbed with a sharp object and sustained injuries on the neck and body."
The woman was identified as Nthabeleng Sehapi.
Three men were arrested in connection with the crime on Monday. They would appear in the Hennenman Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
