Willowvale police are investigating a murder case after a 40-year-old woman was found stabbed to death at her homestead in Ezihom location, Mboya village at Willowvale, Eastern Cape police said on Sunday.

The woman’s body was found by villagers late on Saturday afternoon, Captain Jackson Manatha said.
Community members had became concerned when they did not see her during the day. “When one of the community members finally checked her through the window, it was then that she was found murdered.”
It was suspected that the perpetrator/s gained entry to the house through the window because the door was still locked. “She suffered upper body injuries seemingly inflicted with a sharp instrument,” Manatha said.
No one had yet been arrested and police appealed to anyone with any relevant information to contact Willowvale police on 047-499-1049 or Crime Stop 08600-10111.
