Woman shot and killed in Centurion robbery

A woman who was shot during a robbery at Blue Valley Mall in Centurion on Thursday has died in hospital.
NetCare 911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst says the 32-year-old sustained a gunshot wound on the upper left side of her body.
"Paramedics assessed the patient where she found to be in a critical condition. A full advanced life support resuscitation was initiated on scene the patient was then transported by private ambulance services to hospital in a critical condition where she was handed over to a resuscitation team."
Gauteng police spokesperson Mathapelo Peters says the woman later died in hospital.

Police are hunting for an unknown number of armed suspects believed to be travelling in 3 cars.
"They took an unconfirmed number of cell phones, laptops, and TV sets,” says Peters.
"The suspects fired shots and one female employee was wounded, rushed to hospital and has since succumbed to her injuries."
