Zondo commission forced to postpone McBride testimony again
Updated | By Gaopalelwe Phalaetsile
The testimony of former Independent Police Investigative Directorate (Ipid) boss Robert McBride has been postponed for the second time at the commission of inquiry into state capture.

He will now appear before Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo on Thursday.
McBride, who will apparently implicate 30 to 50 people, was scheduled to give evidence on Monday after a six-week postponement earlier this year.
His evidence centers state capture allegations related to law enforcement.

The testimony of former KwaZulu-Natal Hawks boss Johan Booysen was also postponed to next week.
Booysen was supposed to testify on Thursday.
Evidence leader, Advocate Paul Pretorius, said the commission's legal team failed to issue notices to at least 50 people who are implicated by McBride.
"Although the work could have been done it wasn't done owing to the fact that those responsible and ultimately myself chair were otherwise engaged. Notices have now been prepared and are going out today," He said.
Pretorius also cited logistical issues.
Zondo expressed his disappointment saying it was unacceptable as the legal team had six weeks to get this done.
