Elderly couple fight off two machete-wielding men with patio furniture
An elderly couple had to fend off two men who attacked them on their patio with machetes.
This elderly couple, aged 72 and 69, was expecting to have a relaxed evening on their patio when the night took a turn for the worse.

In a video that was shared by New York Post, the elderly man is seen sitting on his patio while he is reading something on his phone. The video shows how a man wearing a red mask sneaks up behind him and tries to choke him.
Within seconds, another man wearing a grey mask tries to assist his fellow attacker. The elderly man's wife comes out and starts throwing sandals and plastic buckets.
The incident took place in Tamil Nadu, India. New York Post reports that police are investigating the attempted robbery, which injured the woman’s right hand.
