Wild dog plays dead to escape lioness
A wild dog escaped certain death by playing dead while in the jaws of a lioness.
Latest Sightings shared a video on their website showing the wild incident.
In the video, the lioness can be seen carrying the seemingly dead animal in its jaws meters away from a tourist vehicle. In a few seconds - which the cameraman misses - the lioness loses grip of the animal and it makes a run for its life. The lioness gives chase but it's too late. The wild dog lives to fight another day.

According to Latest Sightings, the sighting took place at the Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe a few weeks ago.
