Youth Voices: Courtney and Tristan Pillay
14 year-old Tristan and his sister, 15 year-old Courtney, are on an important mission. They are involved in the tops and tags initiative.
By the end of this year they want to collect enough tags and bottle tops that will be recycled and used in the construction of one wheelchair that will be donated to a young person in need.
For the past few months, the two have been hard at work making the rounds to family and friends collecting what they need.
They spoke to Faith Daniels about what they are trying to do:
Not a cent spent, just time, effort and a lot of caring, poured into one project wanting to make a change.
