Does an apple a day really keep the doctor away..? Well not entirely. Apples first off act as a natural tooth brush by cleaning your teeth and killing bacteria that helps prevent tooth decay. And yes it is full of nutrients that help support strong bones, contains Vitamin C and is high in fibre. So yes apples are very healthy and great for your immune system. But can you avoid the doctor completely by eating an apple a day? Unfortunately Not. Make sure you have a balanced diet and eat lots of apples and who knows, you might just be able to beat the flu monster this winter!!
