Kilimanjaro Update - Day 1
MBD - Let's Give Kili Horns!
Arod and Lysle turner have arrived at Mt. Kilimanjaro, and are ready for the 'big trek' up to Uhuru Peak!
Arod and the flag arrived in one piece (Arod thought he would'nt make it, thanks to a little trick from Lysle at the airport!) and have made their way to the base of the mountain. From here, it is a few days of fair walking until the true 'climbing' begins.
Arod seemed in high spirits when we crossed to him live on MBD this afternoon, it sounds like he has even picked up some of the local lingo!
