One Direction star vomits after being tackled during football game
Updated | By Michael Savage
One Direction star Louis Tomlinson was left a little bruised and battered yesterday after suffering an injury during a charity football match.
The Best Song Ever singer was playing as part of Celtic XI at the game, held in honour of former footballer Stiliyan Petrov - who was forced to retire after a year-long battle with leukaemia.
Louis was brought down by Aston Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor in the 52nd minute of the fixture, hurting his knee in the process –
He was then seen limping off the field, and was later snapped vomiting on the sideline –
Martin O'Neill - who led Celtic XI - later stated: "Agbonlahor smashed into him and he picked himself up and he was ill at the dressing room area.
"He has rushed off now but I think he is fine - he doesn't know where he is but I think he is fine."
Agbonlahor later added he was keen to say sorry to Tomlinson, saying: "It was one of those things. I'll apologise to Louis when we meet up with everybody after the game."
However, the footy ace has received a number of threats from One Direction fans after bringing down Louis, with one tweeting: "@gabby_10 This guy hurt Louis knee. I shall hurt your face. I better hear that you apologised or I will find you, and I will kill you."
