Cindy Alter of South African Supergroup 'Clout' joins us for Stars of the 80's 90's & Now! Check out the VIDEOS of her performing 'Substitute' and Dolly Parton's 'Jolene' Live on MBD!
Cindy Alter, from the 1970's & 1980's SA Supergroup 'Clout' joined us on MBD to share her journey with us, from a bright - eyed 19 year old girl with stars in her eyes and a song in her heart, through challenging and beating Leukemia, being ripped off by managers, and where her music has brought her to today.
Cindy and Stuart Irving, who have now created 'Alter-Irving' and are currently performing together, gave us two incredible unplugged songs, the first, "Substitute" which was arguably Clout's biggest hit, and in 1978 made it to #2 on the UK Chart, as well as charting in the states. They also gave us an INCREDIBLE rendition of Dolly Parton's 'Jolene'.
