We take a look back at some of our favourite moments with stars that have joined us for  'Stars on MBD' today!

Remember the incredible moment where we welcomed Gerard Butler to South Africa live in studio on MBD, and he told us about one of his favourite acting roles?

We also shared an incredible moment with the legendary Sipho 'Hotstixx' Mabuse, where he told us the story of how his biggest hit 'Burnout' was concieved, in a recording studio late at night in downtown Jozi

We also love suprising our guests when they join us in studio, we had an incredible moment with Toya Delazy - Toya is serious hot property on the South African music scene today, and we got her grand father - South African political activist legend Mangosuthu Buthelezi - and we got Toya to sing Happy Birthday to him live on air!

In June this year, Martin's dream came true, as would the dream of any rocker the world over, we got hold of the one and only 'Slash' of 'Guns 'n Roses' fame, and he shared with us what it was like - being part of Guns 'n Roses in the 80's and 90's as the biggest rock band in the world touring the globe

We welcomed Cindy Alter of 70's SA supergroup 'Clout', who told us about how they have sold over 12 million albums (the highest amount by any South African band to date) yet they have recieved next to nothing in return, thanks to some shady administration and management

Cindy also sang an incredible rendition of Dolly Parton's 'Jolene' live and unplugged for us, accompanied by Stewart Irving on guitar

A huge treat for us was welcoming Bonnie Tyler into the MBD studio this year, and Bonnie told us all about taking on Michael Jackson at the Grammies, how Catherine Zeta-Jones is her cousin, and singing at a wedding with Mick Hucknell of Simply Red at a wedding
