VIDEO: Rhino's final footsteps

WARNING: Dramatic footage of a rhino that was killed in Gauteng.

 

A Stop Rhino Poaching activist recorded this video, showing the last footsteps of a rhino bull shot by poachers with a high caliber rifle on the evening of 10th July 2013.

 

According to the organisation the poachers never found the rhino to remove its horns.

 

According to the Department of Environmental Affairs, a total of 480 rhinos have been killed for their horns since the beginning of the year, whilst the number of arrests have increased to 140.
