Another day lost in Bangalore
Updated | By ANA
For the third day in a row there was not a single ball bowled due to persistent rain, as play was called off on day four of the second Test between India and South Africa in Bangalore on Tuesday.
Play was called off for the day at 2.30pm local time as persistent rain meant no play would be possible.
The hosts were in a strong position after day one at 80/0 after bowling out the Proteas for 214 earlier in the day.
South Africa trail 1-0 in the four-match series after losing the first Test in Mohali.
