Boks boost for touring Bulls
Bulls director of rugby, Jake White, has strengthened his squad with returning Springboks for their tour of Europe.
They include Gerhard Steenekamp, Johan Grobbelaar, Wilco Louw, Cameron Hanekom, Elrigh Louw, Marco van Staden, Willie le Roux and Canan Moodie.
The Pretoria team will play Connacht in the United Rugby Championship in Galway on Saturday and Saracens in the Champions Cup opener in London a week later.
The tour party also includes Deon Slabbert, who returns to the club on a short-term loan stint whilst Reinhardt Ludwig and his club captain, Ruan Nortje, nurse their injuries.
From his previous stint, Slabbert has six appearances for the club across the Vodacom United Rugby Championship and Investec Champions Cup.
The lock will remain at the club until the end of the year.
The Bulls are currently in third place in the URC standings.
