Cobras, Dolphins T20 game abandonded due to rain
Updated | By ANA
Persistent rain forced the crucial T20 Challenge encounter between the BuildNat Cape Cobras and Hollywoodbets Dolphins to be abandoned without a ball being bowled at PPC Newlands in Cape Town on Wednesday.

Both sides had entered the contest needing a win in order to keep in touch with the top two, but instead had to settle for two points apiece that leaves them with plenty to do in the second round of the competition.
There was time for a toss ahead of their showdown, but shortly before the scheduled start, the rain swept in and hung around for most of the evening.
It left umpires Shaun George and Adrian Holdstock with little choice but to call off proceedings shortly before 8.30pm.
The results lifted the visitors up to third on the table, with the hosts moving to fourth. But both have played extra matches compared to the opposition.
