Fans see Blue Bulls off ahead of Currie Cup final
Updated | By Trevor Cramer
A handful of flag-waving Blue Bulls fans braved the cool, wet weather and traffic chaos to see off the team as they departed for the Currie Cup final in Bloemfontein.
The players and management filed orderly through what resembled a guard of honour and greeted the fans warmly as they moved towards the awaiting bus.

A relaxed atmosphere prevailed among the players and there were smiles all round.
Captain Arno Botha quipped that while he was thankful for the rain, the Blue Bulls were on a quest to break a drought of their own by bringing the Currie Cup back to Loftus.
The Blue Bulls last lifted the prestigious title in 2009, when they beat the Cheetahs at Loftus.
The Cheetahs, who are unbeaten this season, are the bookmakers' favourites to win the Currie Cup.
Kick off on Saturday is at 4.00pm.
