Gary Teichmann appointed Sharks CEO

Former Springbok captain Gary Teichmann is the new CEO of the Sharks.
The Durban-based franchise confirmed the appointment on Wednesday.
The 49-year-old takes over from John Smit - who leaves the post at the end of the season.
Both Teichmann and Smit are former captains at the Shark Tank as well as of the Springbok Test team.
Teichmann is also a director at Teichmann Plant and Civils.
The former number 8 played 42 Tests for the Boks and is a product of Hilton College in the Midlands.
