Kaizer Chiefs, Gavin Hunt part ways

Kaizer Chiefs has announced the parting of ways with coach Gavin Hunt.

The club made the announcement on Friday evening.
Hunt was appointed to the role in September 2020, as a replacement for Ernst Middendorp.
Chiefs are 11th in the DStv Premiership, having lost 10 of their 28 games so far this season.
"Kaizer Chiefs have terminated coach Gavin Hunt’s contract with immediate effect,” the Glamour Boys said in a statement.
"In the interim, assistant coaches Arthur Zwane and Dillon Sheppard will take charge of the senior team. The club will make further announcements in due course."
Despite their perilous league position, Amakhosi booked a semi-final spot in the CAF Champions League after stunning Tanzanian-based club Simba.
