President Cyril Ramaphosa has congratulated South African Swimmer, Tatjana Schoenmaker for claiming South Africa's first Olympic gold medal in Tokyo.
Ramaphosa phoned the 24-year old in Tokyo and spent about 4 minutes, speaking to her and her coach Rocco Meiring.
She won the women's 200m breaststroke final on Friday, setting a new world record.
