The Springboks will face New Zealand in a Rugby Championship clash – with the national rugby team desperately wanting to prove that their victory over the All Blacks three weeks ago was not a fluke.

Senior Manager: Brand and Marketing at SA Rugby, Marlon Kruger, says they are calling on the whole nation to take part in the #StandTogetherSA campaign.

Well-known Afrikaans singer, Refentse, will sing the national anthem on the Loftus field.

“We are truly blessed to have him lead us in the national anthem,” adds Kruger.

Thereafter, South African impi warriors will throw down the challenge as a counter to the well-known All Black Haka.

Kruger says the recent test against Australia in Port Elizabeth has once again shown how support from next to the field, can lift the spirits of the Springbok players on the field.

“True rugby fans should come out, wear the green and gold and don’t only be a spectator, but a participator to lift the team on Saturday.”
