Masilela to undergo a scan

Defending Absa Premiership Champions Kaizer Chiefs have revealed that Tsepo Masilela will undergo a scan this week to determine the extent of his injury. 

 

The full back injured his thigh muscle while on national duty last week. Bafana Bafana were preparing to face Swaziland when Masilela got injured and subsequently missed Firday's encounter against Sihlangu Semnikati.

 

"Lucky Baloyi was knocked unconscious and cut his knee. 'Sheriff' received stitches to a deep cut on his knee and will be out for 4 weeks," Team Physio, Dave Milner told the club's website.

 

'Sheriff' got injured when the Amakhosi played in a friendly against Mochudi Centre Chiefs in Botswana on weekend.

 

Milner further reported that Knowledge Musona was improving nicely. Musona is recovering from a shoulder injury he sustained in the Telkom Knockout quarter-final against Free State Stars

 

The Phefeni Glamour boys have also reported that Jimmy Jambo and Kaizer Motaung Jnr remain on the treatment table.
