Stroll agrees new Aston Martin deal
Updated | By AFP
Canadian Lance Stroll has signed a new deal with Aston Martin, the British team announced on Thursday.

Stroll, 25, joined Racing Point in 2019 when they were bought by his father Lawrence, who two years later rebranded the team as Aston Martin.
He will continue to race alongside 42-year-old Fernando Alonso after the two-time world champion extended his contract with Aston Martin to 2026.
"I'm super happy to have committed to staying with the team for 2025 and beyond," Stroll said in a team statement.
"It's amazing to see how far we've come in the last five years; we've grown so much as a team and there's still so much more to look forward to," he added.
Stroll claimed the last of his three podium finishes in 2020 and sits 11th in this season's drivers' standings.
Aston Martin are fifth in this season's constructor's championship, 93 points behind Mercedes in fourth after 10 of the campaign's 24 races.
The next Grand Prix takes place on Sunday in Austria.
