Sundowns receive heroes' welcome

CAF Champions League winners, Mamelodi Sundowns, have touched down at the OR Tambo International Airport where adoring fans welcomed them home.

South Africa's soccer bigwigs are also there to celebrate the team's victory.
Orlando Pirates Football Club chairperson, Irvin Khoza, thanked the team for restoring the country's dignity in the Premier Soccer League.
"Winning the Champions League talks to the following factors; you will win the CAF Champions League if you are resilient, you will not win the Champions League if you are not adaptable," Khoza said.
Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula says we are respected by the world.
"Pitso, we are very proud of you and your team for making us proud in the age of hopelessness. Reconstruction and development of the soul," Mbalula said.
Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane thanked the fans.
"Just to show that when South Africa is united, no one can touch us...You don't know what we have gone through. I now know what it means to win that CAF Champions League," Mosimane said.
