Supporters gather as Van Niekerk, Simbine arrive back home

South Africa's 400 meter Olympic gold medallist Wayde van Niekerk along with 100 meter Olympic finalist and national champion Akani Simbine are expected back home on Wednesday.
Van Niekerk and Simbine are travelling from the Paris Diamond League meeting at the Stade de France.
Friends, family and supporters have gathered at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg to welcome the athletes back home.
Wayde's mother is amongst the supporters, waiting to welcome her son back home.
