Who is the greatest actor ever?

To be honest we did not see this one coming. According to new stats, officially (well, kind of) this actor is top of his game, beating screen legends such as Clint Eastwood and Charlie Chaplin.

 

According to the Trinity Mirror Data Unit, based on the rankings of IMDB, Robert De Niro has had more central roles in the top 200 movies than any other actor. Given that he is the main attraction of the high scoring films, this, as far as everyone is concerned, is enough to confirm what we have always suspected – there is no-one better than De Niro.

With the leading role in seven of the films, De Niro was ahead of Chaplin, Eastwood and Leonardo Di Caprio, each of whom clocked up five roles in the top 200 films.
