Do you think cheaters can change their spots?
Updated | By Lee-Roy Wright
Many studies have been conducted on this subject, but the latest has a scientific stamp of approval.

'Once a cheater, always a cheater' is a phrase we have all have heard before, but is it true?
Apparently so! Scientists claim that the notion of a 'selective memory' is a well-known one. Could this be the reason for compulsive cheating?
In scientific terms, this is known as 'unethical amnesia' and according to researchers Maryam Kouchak and Francesca Gino, it's the phenomenon which causes us, over time, to distance ourselves from our bad behaviour.
Science journal the 'Archives of Sexual Behaviour' has published a new study that followed 484 participants in mixed-gender romantic relationships. The researchers quizzed participants to report any sexual relations outside of their relationships, and whether they suspected their other half of the same.
The results clearly showed that people who had played away in the past were three times more likely to do so again when compared with those who remained faithful.
Do you think this is true? Do you believe the statement: 'Once a cheater, always a cheater'?
