Jake White is no stranger to the game of rugby.

He is a rugby union coach and former coach of the Springboks, who he coached to victory in the 2007 Rugby World Cup, as well as the 2004 Tri Nations.

White currently resides in Japan where he coaches Japanese Top League side Toyota Verblitz.

He spoke to Martin Bester and Tumi Morake about his sympathy towards current Springboks coach Allister Coetzee, and how the decisions around players of colour can affect the performance of a team.
