Well, a local couple captured the incredible footage of a meteor shooting across the sky. How lucky are they?!
Many of us will never live to see the sight of a meteor, but luckily for us, technological advances and social media have made it possible for us to see these natural phenomena.
A local resident and his wife made an interesting discovery while reviewing their CCTV footage. The man wanted to assist his neighbour in Vuurlelie Street after their dog was poisoned, so he thought he would take a look at the footage.
The large, bright ball of fire can be seen soaring across the sky before disappearing into the darkness.
