South African expats belt out national anthem in New York
Updated | By Lee-Roy Wright
This will make you feel so proud to be a South African.

Stop what you are doing and sing along.
Many South Africans have been through a tough week. Massive flooding and heavy storms have affected thousands across the country and we can all do with a little bit of positivity right now.
Lyla Illing posted a video showing herself and a number of South African expats in New York singing South Africa's national anthem, 'Nkosi Sikelel’ iAfrika'.
The group got together after last weekend's nail-biting match between the Springboks and New Zealand. You can even see Lyla proudly wearing her Springbok jersey.
The unity, camaraderie and feel good vibe watching them singing and feeling proud to be South African is truly inspiring.
This is beautiful!
