If great music was on your wishlist this year, we definitely delivered!

The past year has been filled with many incredible performances and more so, some of the best artists and bands South Africa has to offer.

From rock, pop, alternative to major chart-topping Afrikaans hits, we've had it all.

Here are a few of our best #FridayLive performances we have had on the Breakfast Show with Martin Bester and Tumi Morake:

Who could ever forget our incredible rooftop performance with Prime Circle?

Prime Circle have, for many years, dominated the charts by releasing huge albums, and now they are back with their latest offering, 'If You Don't You Never Will'.

The band joined Martin Bester and Tumi Morake for a rocking rooftop performance and performed one of their all-time biggest hits, along with a few of their newest tracks off their new album.

Who could ever forget that goosebumps performance of Jo Black?

Black has become one of the most celebrated artists in the country.

With popular hits such as 'Skepe' as well as 'Bring Die Hoop Weer Terug', Black has cemented himself within the industry and this is only the beginning of the success to come.

His hit single, 'Skepe', has managed to rack up over 1,4 million views on YouTube.

Another one of our favourites for 2017 was the time then preganant Riana Nel blew us away with an acoustic performance of her hit, 'Skouers'.

As one of South Africa's top-selling artists, Nel is one talent that many have come to love. With a string of hits and a number of platinum-selling albums, she brought a few of her hits to #FridayLive!

Do you remember the time we were joined by Fokofpolisiekar as they launched their brand new album #Selfmedikasie?

This was truly one of the most incredible moments on radio as the band performed some of their latest tracks from an album that took them 11 years to release.

Does the festive cheer have you smiling from ear to ear?

Well, the festive season officially kicked off for us the day that Charlize Berg and Kelly Khumalo brought tears to our eyes while performing a haunting version of the classic, 'Silent Night'.

A moment we would never forget...
