Navigating the rapid growth of technology in our daily lives can sometimes be a struggle.
This could also apply to the new technological advances in cars. Every day, a new car hits the market with new features and a whole new set of buttons for these features.

According to a new survey conducted by the UK’s Auto Trader, many drivers are unsure what some of the symbols in cars, old and new, mean.
Researchers showed more than 1,000 respondents some of the common symbols for buttons that feature in cars to determine if they actually knew what these symbols meant.
The results were quite shocking!
Times Live reported that more than 40% of drivers did not understand the function of window lock buttons when shown a picture of them.

Some other commonly misunderstood symbols were cruise control, parking assist, and auto.
Here are the top 10 list most misunderstood car buttons according to the survey:
10. Snowflake aircon — 27% (percentage of drivers who don’t understand the button)
9. Recirculating air — 32%
8. Rear window demister — 32%
7. Traction control — 38%
6. Window lock — 41%
5. Cruise control — 41%
4. Auto — 43%
3. Parking assist — 52%
2. Sync — 73%
1. Mem — 77% (we also don't know what this is to be honest)
