A minibus caught fire on the N1 South towards New Road in Midrand.
The Breakfast with Martin Bester team heard a loud ‘bang’ through the studio on Friday morning as a minibus caught fire.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage, with no injuries reported.
Emergency services were on the scene at 06:49.

JMPD spokesperson Wayne Minnaar told Jacaranda FM officials are on the scene helping divert traffic and the cause is still to be determined. No injuries have been reported.
