Thousands of people attended the
funeral of celebrated entrepreneur and businessman Richard Maponya in Soweto, but there was a situation which left everyone talking.
Thousands of people paid their respects to entrepreneur and businessman Richard Maponya.
The funeral was held in Soweto and attended by President Cyril Ramaphosa and former President Thabo Mbeki.
Maponya died at the age of 99 recently following a short illness and speaking on behalf of the siblings, his son Roy Maponya said when his wife passed away the tycoon almost lost his passion for business, according to JacaNews.

However, during the ceremony, Twitter erupted as footage came to life of police guards not knowing which way to turn.
The salute took a different turn and Breakfast with Martin Bester wanted to see if they could perfect the salute.
Yeah... not so easy.
