Busta Rhymes in process of applying for SA citizenship

American rapper and actor Busta Rhymes loved his visit to South Africa so much that he's applying for citizenship.
Trevor George Smith Jr, most commonly known as Busta Rhymes, recently spent some time in South Africa to perform at the popular DSTV Delicious Festival.
Rhymes seemed to enjoy the country so much that he now wants to apply for South African citizenship.
In a video posted on X, the American rapper said: "Joburg, thanks for having me back. Don't take so long bringing me back. We have established our family and loving relationship with one of Africa's good sons."

"But still don't take too long bringing me back. You know what, don't worry about it because I’m working on my citizenship. Thank you so much for the love Joburg. I really had a blast at Delicious Festival."
Other social media videos also show the 52-year-old living his best life in South Africa after he was invited to Kabza de Small’s Pianohub club opening.

According to IOL, the rapper and actor also went viral on social media after he offered a $5,000 reward for a stolen phone at the famous Sandton club, Liv.
In a clip shared on social media, he can be seen pleading for a lady's iPhone 12 to be returned and offering a $5,000 (R86,638,50) reward for its return.

"Please bring it back. Let's do the honourable thing. Let's work within the African people and the way we are supposed to. Let's do the right thing. That’s not nice," he said.
"I want that iPhone 12, f**k you. I am not joking. I am smiling because I am happy. I am not happy about this lady's pain," he told the clubgoers.
