Breakfast with Martin Bester spoke to Currie Cup-winning captain, Duane Vermeulen, on Monday morning.
The Currie Cup tournament is South Africa's premier domestic rugby union competition and this weekend was the ultimate clash! The Blue Bulls made sure the Currie Cup stayed in Pretoria.
"What a fantastic performance over 100 minutes," said Vermeulen, a key figure when South Africa won the Rugby World Cup a record-equalling third time in 2019.
The Bulls have won the Currie Cup 24 times, making them the second most successful side after Western Province with 34 triumphs.
