Dolly Parton announced that she has "hopes, dreams, and concrete plans" to release her first-ever rock album.

This comes after an announcement that the country superstar will be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.

Dolly has been known to push back against the idea of being inducted into the hall of fame because she feels she hasn't made a great rock record yet.

Nevertheless, the 'Rock Hall' continued with the nomination which was announced earlier this year in February.

In a new interview with Pollstar, Parton confirmed that she is planning the release of a full rock album and hopes to reunite Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page and Robert Plant on it.

It is also rumoured that Parton's goddaughter, Miley Cyrus, might feature on the upcoming album.

Although the '9-to-5' singer has plans to make new music, she recently announced that she has "no intention" to "ever tour again".
