According to IOL, it is alleged that the man wrote learner’s licence tests for other people and charged each applicant R3,500.
It is suspected that the man worked the scam at more KwaZulu-Natal stations, however, for now, just 25 cases have been confirmed.
Liesl Laurie said that she remembers the learner's test being easy and she can't imagine someone paying that kind of money for someone else to write it for you.
