According to Cosmopolitan, Galentine's falls on the 13th of February, the day before Valentine's, and it's basically the friendship version of Valentine’s.

Although the day started as a celebration for women to celebrate their platonic love and sisterhood, it has become popular for friends of all genders.

The best part of Galentine's is there's no need for a romantic dinner and gift-giving. This day is basically a free for all, and friends can use creative ways to celebrate this day.

Now, the biggest question is: is it only for single people? The answer is – no!

Cosmo says, "Galentine's Day is truly for everyone."

Whether you’re in a relationship, a situationship or single, you can still celebrate this day with your friends!

Local singer Jemma Catherine recently shared a video on Instagram showing off her Galentine's celebration with friends.
