Here's the 2024 matric final exam schedule

The 2024 final matric exams are underway...
On Monday, 21 October, matric students across South Africa will start the end of their school careers in the 2024 final matric exams.
The exams will start on 21 October, and on Thursday, 28 November, the class of 2024 will conclude their school year with their last paper for both Independent Examinations Board (IEB) and National Senior Certificate (NSC) pupils.
NSC (National Senior Certificate) students will start their exams with English on Monday morning and Afrikaans in the afternoon.

Other language papers will be written in the mornings and afternoons on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
A non-examination day on Thursday, 31 October, was also included on the schedule as a break for learners.
NSC pupils will write their final matric exam, Computer Applications Technology (CAT) and Information Technology (IT) Paper 1, on Thursday, 28 November.

The schedule for IEB students commenced with the CAT Paper 1 (Practical Examination) on Wednesday, 16 October.
First Additional Languages (FAL) and Home Languages (HL) Paper 1 will take place on Monday, followed by Tourism on Tuesday in the first session, and more languages in the second session.

The IEB schedule also includes a religious holiday on 31 October.
Finally, the IEB exams will conclude with Agriculture Management Practise on 28 November.
