Michelle Obama performs on stage with Bruce Springsteen

Former first lady Michelle Obama joined Bruce Springsteen on stage and performed backing vocals.

 It seems the former first lady of the USA, Michelle Obama, has ventured into the world of music.

A recent video that surfaced on social media shows former first lady Michele Obama joining American singer-songwriter Bruce Springsteen on stage during his performance in Barcelona, Spain.

She didn’t just attend the concert but also joined him on stage to sing backing vocals and play the tambourine during his performance of ‘Glory Days’.

The video posted on social media shows former president of the USA, Barack Obama, starting the video by saying, “How cool is my wife!?”. 

Obama then took the video of his wife performing on stage.

Springsteen and his band performed on Friday at Barcelona’s Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium as part of the singer’s 2023 world tour.

According to Reuters, the Obamas and Springsteen recently travelled to Barcelona with filmmaker Steven Spielberg and his wife, actor Kate Capshaw.

Capshaw also joined Springsteen and his band to sing a little backup during the concert.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the former presidential couple has maintained a “good relationship” with Springsteen after the musician endorsed Barack Obama for president in 2008 and again in 2012.
