Lockdown crackdown: SA couple locked up on wedding day

The bridal couple, a priest, and 40 guests were all arrested.
They all have been detained for contravening the lockdown regulations.
South Africa started its lockdown on 26 March 2020 at 23h59.

Brigadier Vishnu Naidoo commented: "People are still taking chances, not realising the seriousness of this virus. The charges will be put to them, they have definitely contravened the regulations of the Disaster Management Act."
The couple decided to not postpone their wedding day and suffered the consequences.
