Scottish security guard hailed a hero after shielding dog from the rain

A security guard went viral after looking after a shopper’s dog.

Sometimes we just need an act of kindness to restore our faith in humanity.
One such act happened at a grocery store in Giffnock, Scotland.
Ethan Dearman, the security guard, did not mind a little rain if it meant keeping the dog dry.

The dog, Freddie, was waiting for its owner to arrive.
A Twitter user snapped the picture - and it spread like wildfire.
Social media users called him a hero and called for him to receive a raise!
