South African soccer ladies from Limpopo have arrived in Russia. Two grannies, who play for Vakhegula, left South Africa for Russia after an invitation to play in a veteran’s league championship.
With this year’s edition of the World Cup, fans are seeing Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Mo Salah in action. But these superstar grannies are much more of a drawcard!

Twitter users are jokingly saying that the Limpopo grannies have played at more World Cups than Bafana Bafana. You’re never too old live out your dreams, even though your knees might not be like they used to.
