Hospitality industry vaccination site to open at Sun City

Sun City will become a vaccination site for the hospitality industry from 24 July 2021.

Have you ever sat under the palm trees and enjoyed the fresh air of the North West? This time around Sun City is giving you a different kind of break if you’re in the hospitality industry.
The vacation ‘city’ will turn into a vaccination site, which will open on Saturday, 24 July, reports Sun International.

All of Sun International’s restaurants, casinos, hotels (excluding The Table Bay, Boardwalk and Federal Palace) and resorts are temporarily closed in line with new COVID-19 regulations announced by the President on 27 June 2021.
"Sun City is used to hosting events of the size and magnitude of the Nedbank Golf Challenge, so we are confident that the preparations for our vaccination site will be seamless." said Brett Hoppe.

Sun City is hopeful that they will vaccinate 7,500 people in three phases.
