Everyone knows the famous dating app Tinder, which allows millions of people to connect to each other and potentially find love.

Something you might not know is that Tinder has launched its Tinder U in-app feature, which allows specifically college and university students to connect with each other.

"Once enrolled, Tinder U can help you connect with fellow students at your college, and nearby schools that are also enrolled in Tinder U, through a dedicated tile on Tinder’s Explore page."

To enroll in Tinder U:

  1. Open Tinder and tap the Profile icon
  2. Go to Edit Profile
  3. Scroll down to School to add your school info
  4. Tap on the option to Apply for Tinder U/Uni
  5. Enter and verify your student email address

Unfortunately for South Africans, Tinder U is currently only available to undergraduate students aged 18-24 at select four-year accredited, not-for-profit schools in the US and UK.
